This is an exciting event where bloggers meet hats and a love affair is being crafted right in front of our eyes. In this fall season, seven fashion bloggers from NYC will design their own custom hats with Worth & Worth Owner and Designer Orlando Palacios.
The first round started on Wednesday evening with 5 of them and was hosted by our dear friend Natalie Suarez of NatalieOffduty. One by one they arrived at the showroom, all closely observing Orlando as he passionately described the hat-making process in what we like to call “the kitchen”, the back studio where all the magic happens.
Everyone had the opportunity to custom their own hat, color, and shape. Natalie arrived with her parents and talented sister and blogger Dylana Suarez of Colormenana. The two sisters were trying on hats, struggling to find only one hat to match their fabulous outfits. There were so many to choose from. Rachel of Jaglever, Nicole of nicolealyse, and Arielle of Somethingnavy also bestowed upon us with fashionable looks and enjoyed the hat fest with all the others. It was a great night and we had fun.
Now getting prepared for a second round on Tuesday the 29th with the company of two other great bloggers, Christina of troprouge and Bonnie of flashesofstyle.
This collaboration will be displayed as a special capsule collection for Worth & Worth, and those creations will be available exclusively on our website within a week for everyone to see. The excitement in the showroom never ends!
